The AMA have just advised that some GPs providing services to residents in aged care facilities are missing out on their visits being counted towards the Aged Care Access Initiative incentive payments, because (a) the GP must work from a practice participating in the PIP and (b) GPs are not claiming these visits using their PIP linked Medicare provider number of an accredited practice.
