Arrange cover for your nursing home patients

I attend a regular meeting at QEC to address residential aged care issues. At the last meeting a concern was raised by nursing management and the pharmacy that a GP had not arranged anyone to cover his nursing home patients while he was on leave. ACAI funding available across region

The Aged Care Access Initiative (ACAI) provides funding for allied health services in Commonwealth funded residential aged care. In 2010, BDDGP has opened up this service to all facilities in the region.
