Make a difference – mentor a local intern
If a junior doctor has a positive experience while under mentorship, they are more likely to be attracted to general practice and sign up for GP training.
Intern mentoring is an opportunity to make a difference to someone’s life and career aspirations. We have a cohort of interns each year at Ballarat Health Services, some of whom are our future GP workforce.
Would you like to make a difference? BHS is currently seeking GPs to become a mentor to an intern with similar interests.
Mentors often find the experience rewarding for themselves, as well as giving benefits to the next generation of our medical workforce.
