Ballarat & District Division of General Practice would like to invite all members of the Practice Team involved in any aspect of Practice Management within General Practice to the network meetings held bi-monthly on a Tuesday or Thursday lunch time from 12:30 - 2:00 PM. These meetings are informal to encourage discussion, with an education component. Enquiries or suggestions for topics please contact Michelle MacGillivray. The practice Manager/Practice Team Network conducted an education session on Safety and Security in General Practice in June of 2008.
The following resources could be useful to General Practice when reviewing systems, policies and procedures around safety and security in general practice.
- Dandenong Casey Division of General Practice have developed a safety and security kit for general practice. Also, their generic policy and procedure manual has been revised in 2008 - have you had a fresh look at it? Take note of section 3 - Occupational Health and Safety.
